I’m sitting here watching the Guilford County board of Education once again hash out construction manager at risk versus single prime contractor for construction projects financed by the $412 million bond. Excruciating.
I’m not saying this to be mean or to personally attack the school board, but the objective impression one gets is that no one has any idea what they’re doing. They only board member who seems somewhat sure of herself is Deena Hayes, who wants to make sure MWBE businesses are included in order to “repair and correct injustices” of the our racist past.
I realize the Red Sox-Rays game is on the other channel.
