The North Carolina Teachers United Facebook page has nothing to do with teacher solidarity. It has everything to do with attacking public school teachers who reject teacher union talking points. At least a few educators recognize this and responded.
The latest example is below. The person who posted this wrote “Wow…scary!!! See a link for her credentials in the comments section.”
Update: The author of the post deleted it. In response to a question about it, she wrote, “I removed it because people were complaining about it, taking jabs at me,, and saying it was staged, and it wasn’t true, and that it was teacher shaming. I researched before I posted it. Only a few people got the point I was trying to make.”
