Central planners of the Triangle unite!

As much as we love central planning in this Locker Room forum, I’m sure we all look forward to this meeting:

If you want to help shape a plan for the Triangle that will keep the region cutting-edge sharp in global competition, listen up.

The
Research Triangle Regional Partnership, a collaboration of Triangle
businesses and institutions, is seeking volunteers to take part in an
exercise that will help map growth strategies in the Triangle for the
next 25 years.

Volunteers will suggest where future housing and jobs should be placed as the region grows.

I’ll offer my suggestion now, before the February 2009 workshop. Future housing and jobs should be placed where owners of private property and private-sector entrepreneurs believe they should be placed ? consistent with minimal government interference.
