Eat a meal in one of the nation’s 50 largest cities, and you’ll get charged the highest combined sales and meals tax in Minneapolis (10.775 percent). Charlotte’s tax rate (9 percent) ties for No. 14 in a ranking of those large cities. Raleigh (7.75 percent) ties for No. 37.
That’s according to a new report from the Tax Foundation. Here are the top 10 cities for taxing your meal:

Of course, big city leaders aren’t the only ones who love meals taxes.
