On this weekend’s edition of Carolina Journal Radio, Locke Foundation Research Director and Local Government Analyst, Michael Sanera, critiques Chatham County’s proposed land-use plan. If approved, the plan would, among other things, regulate 23,000 acres of privately owned land.

Sanera comments on the plan here. You can hear the complete interview this weekend, and you can read his complete report on this proposed land grab here.

Chatham certainly isn’t the first county to pursue this approach, nor will it be the last. That’s why Sanera’s perspective is important to everyone who believes in protecting private property rights, regardless of where we live.
