Meck Deck says ‘stick a fork in the Panthers.’
I watched the game over at a buddy’s house on his fat flat screen. When the Panthers were faced with a third and long, we sarcastically looked at each other and ‘draw.’ Sure enough, that was the call, except DeAngelo Williams shut us up with a long gain for a first down. Then Jake Delhomme lets go a floater — you could see the laces knuckling in high definition —– for an interception. Then the power went out, as it did in many homes here in Guilford County. Almost as if we weren’t meant to watch any more.
Is it me, or is the media suddenly focusing more on the Bobcats with the Panthers floundering? That’s sad, man.
