I’ve just seen a TV report that Democrat Steve Goss has won the Senate District 45 seat over Republican David Blust with just a 300-vote margin (less than a percentage point).
Provisional ballots will likely change the final margin, but this one could head to a recount.
If the result stands, this is a pickup for Democrats. Republican John Garwood held this seat before losing a May primary.
