May 3 is a celebrated day for Constitutions in Poland, the date of the first liberal constitution in Europe (adopted in 1791), and the second in the world after the U.S. Constitution. It has been a continuing cause for parades and celebration by Poles around the world, as well as in the U.S.

Interestingly, there is no big celebration in the U.S. of its Constitution day?which, of course, is not July 4.
