What a mess. Let’s just look at the faulty notion that digital downloads should have the same tax treatment as hard-copies. What government service do downloads consume? Unlike brick-and-mortar sales, I do not jump in my car and drive on public roads to a store which requires police and fire protection to make the purchase.
This is a straight-up revenue grab. And we, the sheeple, are letting them get away with it.
