The College Basketball Invitational is one of two competing tournaments for schools not good enough to make either the NCAA or NITs. This year Davidson is one of 16 schools in the CBI.
I’m trying to muster up the energy to care, but honestly I can’t. And I worked at Davidson for two years. It’s simply absurd for a team like Davidson that finished the season ranked 182nd by RPI (of 345 Division I men’s basketball programs) to still be playing. Period.
