Delta Airlines will begin flights to Hickory and Kinston from Atlanta in the spring. Each city will be served three times a day on regional jets.
It will be very interesting to see how much incentive money was involved in getting Delta to come. Both cities have been willing to throw hundreds of thousands of dollars at airlines for much less desirable service than what Delta is set to provide.
