As I blogged earlier, Orange County Rep. Bill Faison wants to be head of the N.C. Democratic Party. Why? According to the Herald-Sun, Faison’s statement reads in part: “At stake is a better education for our children, a fairer society and a better quality of life for all of our citizens, not just a select few.”
I’m just wondering if Rep. Faison, who is an attorney, believes that putting an end to frivolous lawsuits is part of getting us to a “fairer society.” Regardless, I like the idea of a discussion about exactly what constitutes a “fairer society.” That’s an important debate.
