It’s been noted before that President Obama has a knack of contradicting himself in the space of minutes. That happened again today as he tried to sell his Obamacare program in red Montana. He was asked by a person in the audience:

“Why is that you’ve changed your strategy from talking about health care reform to health insurance reform and vilify the health insurance companies?”

He answered:

“My intent is not to vilify insurance companies. If my intent was to vilify them, we’d be saying private insurance has no place in the health care market.”

But then he made this statement:

“Most of us have insurance; most of us think, knock on wood, that we’re going to stay healthy, but … we can be held hostage at any given moment by the health insurance companies.”

My guess is the TelePrompter was not in use today.
