While I’m opinionating . . .
Pundits are talking about the irrelevance of the Republican Party, and suggesting ways for it to remake/remodel itself. Why doesn’t the Republican Party just disappear? That way, voters would have to choose between big, establishment party government and something else. The something else is likely to be more popular, anarchists and fiscal conservatives finding common ground in the notion of liberty – for people and not for government.
