Donald Hicklin, 17, was convicted in February and given 30 months probation after serving 18 days in the Mecklenburg County jail, records indicate. According to the April 2009 arrest record, two additional felony burglary charges were dropped. And a February 2009 arrest on misdemeanor charges of assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon on school grounds evidently produced no convictions as well.
