We all know that it makes sense to fight smoking to promote public health. But what if what we all know is all wrong?
Dr. John Staddon, James B. Duke professor of psychology and professor of biology emeritus at Duke University, punctures myths about smoking’s social costs in the new book Unlucky Strike: Private Health and the Science, Law, and Politics of Smoking. Staddon discussed key themes from the book today in a presentation for the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
In the video clip below, Staddon discusses anti-smoking zealotry.
