The Hendersonville Times-News printed the following:
City Council voted unanimously in July to implement a city-run Main Street program, taking the duty of protecting the economic viability and “social fabric” of downtown away from Downtown Hendersonville Inc.
Council, of course, gave the duty to themselves.
