All the noise in Raleigh about the new head of the N.C. Citizens for Business and Industry being some sort of fire-breathing conservative is beyond amusing.
Lewis Ebert seems to be a fairly typical middle-of-the-roader who might be more attuned to what his group’s membership wants than predecessor Phil Kirk was — then again who wouldn’t be.
Like we reported a few months back, Ebert had no qualms about donating to the Kansas Democratic Party, so reports of his fanaticism seem somewhat exaggerated.
