I said I wasn’t going to use the word “stimulus” because government renames things when the public gets wise to their true nature. However, I was wondering if anybody was naming their children Stimulus. Imagine a movie, but instead of Indiana Jones, we have Stimulus Perkins. He could have economic multiplying powers.

What’s that? I ask the same question. However, the local daily reports that when fiat currency is called stimulus, it can become 6 times as valuable. The NC DOT will be receiving $209 million in newly-printed fiat, and that is on top of $470 million already received. Since it is the intent of stimulus to create jobs, the DOT can spend it on low-priority projects. Hopefully, stimulus workers will be given spoons instead of shovels so jobs may abound.

Anyway, the fiat-turned-stimulus is supposed to add $4 billion to the economy. Unless I misunderstand, economic multipliers credit the favorite-son source for as many times as a dollar is used before it wears out. If a stimulus dollar changes hands ten times, those who multiply economics count it as worth $10. If an ordinary dollar goes from a secretary to a grocer to an orange farmer, to a day laborer, to an auto mechanic, each producer gets credited for his own dollar exchange.

Stimulus Perkins could credit the favorite son for transactions ten-times-removed with, say, a magic guitar, for those looking for cause and effect. OK, it sounds crazy, but what’s your explanation?
