The Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, frustrated by the lack of education reform, have join forces to pour money into a ?non-profit? whose goal is to make education an issue in the 2008 presidential race. With a price tag of $60 million the former governor of Colorado, and former LA superintendent, Roy Romer will lead this new organization. “Strong American Schools” is the official name coordinating the ?ED in 08? strategy. Even Gov. Schwarzenegger joined the bandwagon. No wonder the ?Terminator? is joining since the California Teacher?s Union defeated every one of the Governor?s initiatives. Even the ?Terminator? is NO match for the teacher?s union.
