The Media Research Center is releasing its “Best Notable Quotable” for the most biased reporting of the year. Quin Hillyer gives some examples here.

One of the worst (aside from Chris Matthews, who typically takes home the gold) is from a reporter on an ABC podcast who indicated the presidency is beneath Obama.

[A]pparently he’s even too good for the presidency: “I like to say that, in some ways, Barack Obama is the first President since George Washington to be taking a step down into the Oval Office. I mean, from visionary leader of a giant movement, now he’s got an executive position that he has to perform in, in a way.” (That was ABC Nightline co-anchor Terry Moran on a Feb. 20 podcast.)

It’s about time these reporters realized that almost half the country disapproves of the president’s job performance ? and the trend is heading steadily downward.
