The long expected lawsuit from the family of Alexander “Sasha” Ehrenburg as a result of the 2005 CMPD SWAT team fatal shooting of Ehrenburg has been filed.
Charlotte city attorney Mac McCarley can say otherwise, but there is substantial question about how the incident unfolded. Tara Servatius dug it all out back in February, the two different story-lines, the Official and the Unofficial. The former is backed up by assertations from the city and CMPD’s top brass, the latter by actual 911 tapes of the call.
