Elon University is requiring all incoming freshmen to read Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. Elon’s site makes Gore look like a noble visionary. Needless to say, there isn’t any requirement that students read anything that questions Gore’s assertion that we’re on the brink of doom.
Why choose Big Al’s book? According to Elon’s public information office, it was chosen because all of the university’s core freshman classes in the fall will deal with global warming and the environment. The politicization of the curriculum has ratcheted up another notch.
