This is one of the better news stories I’ve read in a long time. Jonnie Cure and Kenneth Henson are great American heroes. Cure got press coverage for speaking against Haywood County’s budget during public comment a few weeks ago. This Monday, as the commissioners got closer to voting, Cure and Henson did what they could. They ignored the decorum of the chamber and challenged the commissioners verbally. They started a chant disputing political drivel about how people want bigger government. They caused Chair Kirk Kirkpatrick to lose his train of thought. And, rather than living happily ever after, they got escorted out.

Highly recommended reading.
