Lawyer, Scholar, Adjunct Professor at George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School
In this presentation, Baylen Linnekin will discuss themes covered in his new book by the same name. He will tell the human stories of farmers, food producers, sellers, and consumers who have been hurt by — and are working against — bad food laws that promote unsustainable food practices (e.g., laws that encourage food waste) or that prohibit sustainable food practices (e.g., laws that prohibit home gardening).
Shaftesbury presentations are free and open to the public. Lunch is not available for purchase at the presentation. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and enjoy it during the presentation.
