The Daily Tar Heel reports today on two protests. One Shannon Blosser witnessed yesterday, a rally to “free” a lunch lady who was neither jailed nor fired but was placed on paid leave for embezzling food ? she was allowing students to eat for free, at the company’s expense.
The other is a rally planned for later this week at the legislature to oppose “massive” budget cuts (um, riiiiight) ? to demand that they continue to get everything handed to them at everyone else’s expense.
