Not all of them bend or break the law to aid people and groups that meet with the administration’s approval and harm those that want to ratchet down the scope and cost of the government. Recent revelations (and I suspect there is more to come) have shown, however, that some of them are perfectly willing to use the law as a sword against Americans perceived as enemies of the state.
