The NC Center for Public Policy Research gives kudos to the this year’s unique “bipartisan” coalition of House Republicans and Democrats in their report on the effectiveness of NC’s legislators.

“I actually think it’s the dawn of a new day in a way,” said Ran Coble, the center’s executive director. “One of the new skills in this two-party state is the ability to work across party lines, and that shows up in the rankings this year.”
