I don’t know if this has any real relevance, but as I was getting a massage yesterday to deal with the stress of my daily life, my masseuse told me her boyfriend was a salesman for company that provides equipment for underground utility installation. She said the poor dude comes home exhausted every night and falls asleep in the La-Z-Boy. That tells me something about the nature of the business.

Ultimately this fiasco belongs squarely in the lap of the Greensboro City Council. Someone on the council should be occasionally checking up on the staff, but no one does.
Which ultimately leads to this question: Just how qualified are city council members to check up on such complicated infrastructure matters, considering the fact that social engineering seems to be their field of expertise?
