Well-known forced annexation supporter, David Lawrence, will be presenting on annexations before the House Judiciary II committee tomorrow morning (this is the committee where the annexation bills have been placed). The committee just made this announcement minutes ago.
This is the same David Lawrence that “significantly misled” the annexation study commission about what a major report stated on NC’s annexation law. This is the same person that still hasn’t corrected himself to the legislators after getting caught in the misstatement (at least he hasn’t corrected himself publicly).
We’ll know soon enough if it will be business as usual with the legislature–we’ll see if they get a presenter from the other side.
