The N.C. elections board has ruled that four current legislators and one former lawmaker must forfeit excess funds received from N.C. House Speaker Jim Black’s campaign.
The current lawmakers are Democratic Reps. Alma Adams, Earl Jones, Mary McAllister, and Earline Parmon. The former lawmaker is Republican Monroe Buchanan.
