For many, learning that NC public universities have policies
that violate the First Amendment is no surprise.  But what may be
a surprise is that college groups across the nation are uniting to
fight against these dogmatic doctrines. On Townhall.com, Mike Adams
recognizes the effort by the UNC-G College Republicans and College
Libertarians to unify to protest their constitutional rights. 
However, winning this fundamental battle won’t guarantee that speech,
once freed, will hold up to the elements of style.  George Leef, in the Campus Report Online writes
that the literary skills of American adults (including college grads) –
already abysmally low – has declined since the last assessment was done
in 1992.
