The N&R reports Greensboro Mayor Robbie Perkins’ Centre Point condominium is in foreclosure and will be auctioned off. Perkins says he will move into an apartment or townhouse, adding bankruptcy and foreclusure has “happened to a lot of people and I just happen to be the mayor.” Exactly.
Question is whether or not anyone will buy Perkins’ condo. Other question is whether or not anyone will gamble on the first-floor restaurant space after Nico’s announced last month it was closing its doors, especially since it’s right across Elm Street from Center City Park.
