Pundit House has the details on the Uptown crowd lobbying the Uptown crowd to spend more money on — wait for it — the Uptown crowd. Trouble is, they first have to take the money from everyone else — primarily via tried-and-true methods of propaganda and deception.
Example bit of epistemological sleight of hand — “sacrifices” are required to meet local government spending “needs.” Wrong. Priorities are required after a decade of bankster Ponzi scheme cash obliterated any concept of priority. It is not normal to spend money the way the Uptown crowd did for years and years. Besides, if you are making sacrifices — meaning you are doing something of lower value instead of something of higher value — you obviously have an execution problem. Or purposeful deception in the decision-making matrix.
This is what the Uptown crowd has excelled at. Soaking up all available cash for their pet projects and social engineering while making it seem like widely shared public priorities — roads, public safety, libraries, park, middle school sports — absolutely, positively require additional “resources.”
Well, some of us ain’t playing that game anymore. We didn’t just get real, reality got us. Good.
