The controversial Kanye West has been slated to headline UNC-Wilmington’s spring concert on April 22 at the Task Coliseum.
I’m
sure many of you know West from his Top 40 hit “Golddigger” featuring
Jamie Foxx playing on local radio stations non-stop all summer and
through the fall. But, how many of us can forget West’s comments
during a NBC Hurricane Katrina telethon where he called President Bush
a racist among other allegations that left Mike Myers, from Shrek and Wayne’s World fame, looking out of place.
