Inside Scoop reports the Greensboro Transit Authority’s end run around the City Council straight to Reps. Alma Adams and Pricey Harrison, who promptly file a bill to raise the motor vehicle tax to fund increased bus service.
Council members Zack Matheny and Trudy were not happy when they found out about GTA’s legislative lobbying and have raised the possibility that board members could be removed. The council 8-1 not to include the tax in their legislative agenda.
