David French is a senior counsel with the American Center for Law and Justice in Washington, D.C. A native of Kentucky, French is a graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, and of Harvard Law School. He has been a commercial litigation partner for a large law firm, taught at Cornell Law School, and served as president of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE). He posts regularly on National Review Online (NRO).
