Savanna Phifer is the operations associate at John Locke Foundation. Previously, she was a research intern for Locke. Prior to joining the Locke team, she was a research intern at the Civitas Institute, a legal intern at a family law firm, and an intern at the North Carolina Republican Party.
Savanna graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science, BA in Psychology, and a minor in Conflict Management. During her time at Carolina, she took a special interest in mediation, judicial elections, and healthcare (specifically for Veterans suffering PTSD and their families in reassimilating into a civilian lifestyle).
In her free time she enjoys returning to her hometown in Union County to see her family pet (a Great Dane named Ramsey), going on day trips around NC with friends, painting, and reading.
