Charges that one doesn’t really support our military men and women and the sacrifices they make are easier to believe when one doesn’t know the difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day:
President Barack Obama saluted veterans and urged his countrymen to do the same this Memorial Day weekend, saying the nation has not always paid them proper respect.
This is the second time Obama’s made this gaffe, calling into question his superior intellect, or at least his ability to learn from mistakes. Last year he saluted our “unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today.”
