Timing is everything. On the day that the government of Kuwait decides to criticize anyone who would attach a certain religion to world terrorism, we get this little gem from convicted Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad, a Muslim:
“Brace yourselves, the war with Muslims has just begun,” Faisal Shahzad told a federal judge. “Consider me the first droplet of the flood that will follow.” He said the defeat of the U.S. is “imminent and will happen in the near future.”
The next time you need rescuing from a fanatical, neighboring dictator, call someone else. As we say sometimes here in the West, go pound sand.
