While elections attracted much of John Hood’s attention this week, he also contributed to a WTVD Television report assessing Wake County Superior Court Judge Howard Manning’s shifting focus in the Leandro school funding lawsuit. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted Hood’s column outlining the gimmickry to which Gov. Bev Perdue resorts in her efforts to boost job creation in North Carolina. Hood’s regular contributions to National Review Online’s primary blog, “The Corner,” attracted attention from Conservative Blog Watch, Liberal Whoppers, and World Actual News. News & Observer Editor John Drescher also referenced on his blog this week a recent lunch with Hood and businessman and philanthropist Art Pope.
