Even after pointing out these facts I’ve heard the most strained reasoning from local GOPers trying to explain why their people didn’t vote. One fave, that The Media told the public that the race was over with all the early voting, so your basic GOP businessperson who was used to voting on their way home from work on Election Day didn’t bother to stop this year.
