The Watauga Democrat has published an update on their complaint about a 3-4 month delay with a public information request. The Town of Boone responded with 1680 pages of printed documents and a loaded flash drive – plus a request to see all documents provided to the newspaper from anybody in county government since March 2013.
The newspaper’s request pertains to allegations of favoritism in the town’s decision to change the method of sales tax redistribution.
