I try really hard to remember that young women are, well, young. That said, I wish young women would ignore politically correct activities like this one, which presumes they are vapid and that ending “fat talk” will help one maintain a healthy lifestyle. From Time:

Starting Oct. 18, thousands of young adults on at least 35 campuses will participate in Fat Talk Free Week, a national campaign to eliminate language that is damaging to students’ body image. The initiative’s motto: “Friends don’t let friends fat-talk.” Participants learn, for example, that when a gal pal asks if those jeans make her butt look big, the best answer may be to persuade her not to ask the question at all.

Ladies, leave the politically correct “I’m OK, You’re OK” nonsense aside. Forget about avoiding “fat talk” and eat a reasonable diet, get a reasonable amount of exercise, and don’t make candy bars and chips your snack habit.
