Shuler says Miller is using a script somebody fed him. He’s never been in a debate where somebody reads off notes. Miller says he is reading the notes he read while Shuler was talking, which was a long time. Miller wants Shuler to let him talk.
Miller: Card check removes the guarantee of a secret ballot. That introduces intimidation, and that is not fair. The worst two things people want in their businesses is Cap and Trade and card check. 1% of this whole district is unionized. I don’t want to bash unions, but this country is structured around the secret ballot. One of the biggest things the Chamber of Commerce worked against was Cap and Trade.
