Yeah, what a wonderful dream to have a 22 percent national sales tax replace the IRS. Minor problem: Why do all the states without an income tax still nontheless have revenue collecting departments? Why they even put people in jail for avoiding 7 or 8 percent levies. But with the Fair Tax, no one anywhere would possibly try to avoid it. Magic.
