Rich Vedder, writing at his blog here (June 25 post) defends me against the charge of one or more unnamed bloggers that I’m an idiot — evidently because I made favorable comments about a recent study Rich did that concluded that dumping more money into higher education won’t buy a state any prosperity. (It seems to do the opposite.)
Bravo to Rich, not so much for crossing swords with my attackers, but for a spirited defense of civil discourse.
