Back on the role of government, Principal Chief Michell Hicks and Governor Beverly Perdue have agreed upon terms for live card dealers at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. According to the local daily:

The agreement will mean 400 new jobs and money for North Carolina’s schools.

The state will get a cut of the profits from the new games starting at 4 percent for the first five years and increasing to 8 percent for the last 5 years.
