This is almost a perfect distillation of media elite arrogance. One is not even permitted to question Gwen Ifill when she pens a book subtitled “….in the Age of Obama.”
Tell me, how many Age of Kerry books were written? Even Age of Clinton tomes? The framework presupposes some huge historical role for Obama, one that far outstrips being defeated for president despite being the first black nominee of our political duopoly. Just downright goofy to even argue the point.
Ifill is writing a quick cut-and-paste book in hopes of cashing in on Obamadrama. Judge her accordingly.
