I really try not to think about it and even harder not to take sides, but this column reminded me of all the trouble that flows from the current situation.
I do not know if there is a way to back out to a more rational, open, and principled place or if it is even much worth trying. But I am convinced that were you to ever try to explain our current “Indian gaming” system to the proverbial alien from outer space, all you’d get is blank stares from their three fleshy eye-stalks.
Then they’d probably blast you with their ray-guns as a hopelessly inferior lifeform.
